It is a polymer wax and is applied to seal the paintwork from moisture, UV rays, and airborne contaminants. A wax polymerically bonds with the paint and creates an invisible shield protecting the paintwork from damage. A good wax will leave a smooth finish and protect the paintwork from stones that may scratch the paint.

Do You Clean the Tires and Wheels too?

Yes, we do a deep clean on the tires and wheels (aka rims). Our cleaning agents dissolve loose rust, grime, road rash, oils, brake dust, and more. We do not use acid-based tire cleaners but what we do use is the next best thing. Once all 4 tires and wheels are cleaned thoroughly, we apply a tire dressing that provides a wet glossy look. This should last for a few weeks but that would be based on a lot of other factors that would shorten the shine.
